Logographer

I’m Craig Schamp, so far the sole contributor to this site. A graduate of UC San Diego, I’ve been writing software professionally for over twenty years, with great memories of rewarding work and talented colleagues at Sun Microsystems, Apple Computer, and a now-defunct supercomputer company called MasPar. I’ve been working at Adobe Systems for over five years now.

About three years ago I decided to pursue the MA degree in ancient and medieval history at San Jose State University. Having finished my coursework, I’m now writing a thesis. Unless sloth overtakes me, I expect to complete it by winter 2006 spring 2007 fall 2007. The working title for my thesis is Ethnography and Identity in Visigothic Gaul and Spain Difference and Accommodation in Visigothic Gaul and Spain.
